Replastering

The interior surface, stripped back and rebuilt.

Replastering

The surface is the whole job

Plaster is what you feel underfoot and what you see through the water. When it stains, roughens, or starts to delaminate, resurfacing is what fixes it. Customers call it getting the pool redone, replastered or resurfaced. It is the same work.

Prep decides everything. The pool is drained and sounded for hollow spots and delamination, and whatever is failing gets chipped out. Sometimes the entire surface has to come out. Get that wrong and nothing after it matters.

How it goes

What the job actually involves

1

Drain and sound

We find the hollow spots and the delamination before anything else happens.

2

Chip out

Failing material comes out. If the price has to move because of what is underneath, you hear it before we carry on.

3

Resurface

New plaster applied over properly prepared bond.

4

Fill and cure

About a month before anyone swims. That is the industry standard, not a Living Water rule.

Choosing your finish

The colour changes everything

Plaster comes in a range of colours, from near white through greys to deep blues. It is the single biggest thing you choose on the job, because it decides how the water reads once the pool is full.

Want to see them properly? We will bring samples out so you can hold them in daylight next to your own coping and deck, rather than picking a colour off a screen.

One job, one point of contact. We run it from the first visit to the last, including the startup and chemical balancing once the pool is filled. You are not left lining up trades or chasing anyone.
